Fuel:
Only pure methanol is allowed and use of fuel additives is forbidden. Fuel will be provided by the promoter. Riders will not be permitted to bring any fuel jugs into the pit area.
Format:
a. Traditional 16-rider, 20-heat championship format with 16 programmed riders and two reserves.
b. Points paid on a 3-2-1-0 basis in each heat.
c. Reserves do not earn points
d. If a programmed rider is disqualified or withdraws before Heat 5, the first reserve becomes a replacement rider and takes that rider’s programmed rides, subject to a maximum of five starts.
e. Replacement riders earn points.
f. A draw for starting spots will be held during the August 8th event. The referee will draw for any rider that cannot be present unless that rider designates an individual to draw for them in their absence.
g. Should one of the 16 programmed riders ride as a reserve for any reason, he will be scored in fourth position.

Semifinals and Final:
a. All awards are based on the results of the 20 programmed heats.
b. Semifinals, a B-Main and a Main Event will be run according to the following format:
Semifinals: The top eight riders in points qualify for the Semifinals and are seeded as follows:
a. Rider with most points has Gate 1 in Semifinal 1
b. Rider with second-highest points has Gate 1 in Semifinal 2
c. Rider with third-highest points has Gate 2 in Semifinal 1
d. Rider with fourth-highest points has Gate 2 in Semifinal 2
e. Rider with fifth-highest points has Gate 3 in Semifinal 1
f. Rider with sixth-highest points has Gate 3 in Semifinal 2
g. Rider with seventh-highest points has Gate 4 in Semifinal 1
h. Rider with eighth-highest points has Gate 4 in Semifinal 2
B-Main: Riders placed 3rd & 4th in the semifinals. Gate positions by draw.
Main Event: Riders placed 1st & 2nd in the semis. Gate positions by draw.
Ties: Two-way ties will be broken by the result of the riders’ heads-up meeting during the qualifying rounds. Three-way ties will be broken by a runoff unless one rider has defeated the other two in the qualifying rounds. Four-way ties will be broken by a runoff.
Entries and Eligibility: Riders requesting entries must file a Letter of Intent on the official form included in these supplemental regulations.Purse: The winner is guaranteed $1,000. The total purse has not yet been determined, but at a minimum, the riders finishing 2nd through 8th will receive a payout, with 8th place guaranteed $100.
Minimum age: 16 as of January 1st, 2010
Final determination: Final determination of a rider’s eligibility is at the sole discretion of the referee.
Open Quad Class information:

a. Twelve riders and one reserve rider will be selected to participate. The top six in the Mid-America points standings at the conclusion of the August 21st event will be guaranteed starting spots, the remaining six will be determined by the promoter.
